Community Outreach

We have a diversified Community Outreach program that provides various handcrafted items to support individuals and organizations in our area. We donate quilts for seniors, children, and families in our community that face a variety of life challenges, including children in foster care. Recipients of various sized quilts:
We also make and donate placemats, baby quilts, burp cloths, receiving blankets, diaper bags, Holiday Bags, Spring Bags, and holiday stockings. Recipients of these items:
Our donations change at times to respond to the needs of the community, for example we have also made and donated grocery bags and masks during the pandemic. Donations to the Guild
We gladly accept donations of quilt fabric, batting, and other sewing items. Donations to our Guild will be used for Community Outreach projects, or to raise funds to support our Guild activities. If you would like to donate, please email us at: wsqg@washingtonstarsquiltguild.com
