Loose Ends Project
Presenter: Jennifer Simonic, Co-Founder, Director of Partnerships & Community Outreach

Join us for a meaningful and heartfelt presentation on the Loose Ends Project, a volunteer-driven initiative that connects makers with families to help complete unfinished projects left behind by loved ones. Jennifer Simonic will share how the project works, the impact it has on families, and how quilters and sewists can use their skills to create comfort, closure, and connection.

Jen has been knitting since she was six years old. Her grandmother taught her with steel needles from WWII used for bandage-making. She was the weirdo that knit under the desk in 6th grade. The first piece she finished for someone else was a sweater that a friend's mom was making for her dad. That mom said "If I finish it, he'll leave me. You finish it and give it to someone who needs love." Jen lives with her family in Seattle, WA. They love her even though her stash is taking over the house.

This session is perfect for anyone interested in using their craft to give back and make a lasting difference—one stitch at a time.

There will be no guest cost for this event per the Executive Board's discretion.
